How?
In 1999 Fortune Magazine ran an article called "Why CEOs Fail," by Charan and Colvin. Their
conclusion? CEOs fail to execute. I suppose those people at the top didn't know what the
"E" in CEO meant.
A few years later as the so-called "tech bubble" was getting a new push down hill with the
September 11, 2001 attack, I asked a well placed friend at Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology,
"What's the single biggest obstacle to entrepreneurial success?" Without hesitation he said, "Most
entrepreneurs can't execute."
We can fix that. We can change that. As a bit of evidence, you can read through Optimizing Luck
to see how we approach the high-tech enterprise and make it an unqualified success.
All the venture capital in the world won't make your venture a success...unless you know how to execute.
A venture integrator, though, can make that difference. Our systems approach to accomplish this is based
on the concepts of Luck Optimization and Fault Tolerance, which together we call
LO+FT®.
Through LO+FT®, we can show you how
to build adaptability and innovation into every aspect of your venture. This foundation will
multiply the positive impact of every step you take in the development of your company. It will also
provide powerful tools to minimize the effects of mistakes, unanticipated market changes, and
unknown risks.
